Tonight's game at Vickerstown is the 400th that manger Andy Westwell has been in charge. He took over as manager in March 2001.
In his first full season, 2001/2, Charnock won the Lancashire Amateur Shield for the first time since 1968 and the Richardson Cup. The following season we won the Premier Division title, the only team to prevent Kirkham & Wesham from claiming the Premier Division Championship Trophy in the period between 1998 and 2007. Andy has gone on to win the Goldline Trophy twice out of five Reebok Stadium appearances. The Richardson Cup again in season 2004/5, the Lancashire Amateur Shield again in 2006/7 and the league championship again last season.
No manager of the club has previously achieved the success that the club has enjoyed under Andy’s management.

Charnock hit six goals at Vickerstown to complete their fixtures. Final score 6-1. The Charnock goalscorers were Alex Porter 3, Liam Hayton, Matt Mawdesley and Craig Banks.

As a result of Garstang Reserves only managing a 1-1 draw with bottom of the table Blackpool Wren Rovers Reserves, Charnock Richard Reserves have finished as runners up to Euxton Villa Reserves. Well done to the lads!

The A Team's home game today against Southport Trinity is OFF. Trinity cannot raise a team and it is understood that they have resigned from the league.

Charnock produced a great second half performance to secure a 3-1 victory over local rivals Euxton Villa. Jimmy King, Carl Grimshaw and Chris Robinson scored the goals for Charnock.

Charnock bounced back after three home defeats with a 7-0 victory over Tempest United. A John Sanderson hat-trick, 2 goals from skipper Andy Roberts and with Andy Battersby and Jordan Wilson also on the score sheet the frustrations of recent games were banished with this comprehensive win.
