Turton took an early lead but Liam Hayton equalised just after half time. Turton defended well for the remainder of the game against some determined home attacks and Charnock had to be satisfied with only one point.

Congratulations to our 'A' team for progressing to the semi finals of this seasons Preston & District League Guildhall Cup competition. They have now been drawn to play Tarleton Corinthians in the semi final on Good Friday morning, at Lostock St.Gerards ground, kick off 11am.

A James Price header on 89 minutes gave Charnock the vital win needed to keep their championship hopes on course. Charnock dominated the second half in a tough local derby after Coppull had hit the woodwork in the first half.

This was an important win for Charnock in their chase for the championship. A Wren goal, against the run of play, midway through the first half was a set back but James Price equalised before half time. Jimmy King gave the Villagers the lead early in the second half and then it was just a case of defending well.

Despite having most of the play in the first half Charnock were a goal down to Burnley United at the interval. In the second half both Priestley and Mayers were sent off but Liam Hayton salvaged a point with a last minute header.

Stoneclough beat Euxton Villa 1-0 in Monday night's Goldline Trophy Semi-Final at Chorley F.C.and they go through to the final to play Atherton LR on Monday 6th April. The winning goal came with 10 minutes left. Euxton had two players sent off Stoneclough one.

Charnock finally came away with a point after a topsy turvey game against Vickerstown. Charnock took an early lead through Scott Priestley before Vickerstown fought back to lead 2-1. Charnock came back and Liam Hayton equalised. John Sanderson put the Villagers 3-2 up at half time. Two quick goals after the interval saw Vickerstown back in the lead before Phil Jackson equalised for a 4-4 draw.
